In the past week we have had See You at the Pole AND our Speed the Light Walk-a-thon!!

We represented at 4 area schools on 9/23 for the annual SYATP and prayed for God to move in the lives of YOUR peers! Be sure to see if your school has a christian club, and if not, ask Pastor Dan and maybe YOU can be the one to start it!

For STL, 13 different participants gave up part of their Saturday on 9/26 and walked a total of 90 MILES!!  When its all in, we are looking to have raised over $700 for missionaries around the world!!

We’re all gearing back up for the the new school year,  and as much as that stings to hear, there is still fun to be had.

Just so YOU are aware – there are NO activities at The Loft Friday July 3rd.

BUT – Wednesdays nights are STILL on all summer long, 6:30 to 7:30. We are still meeting and having discussion and i love these opportunities to hear what you think about stuff.

So here’s the game plan…

Have you ever taken a putt and it looks perfect and then at the last second  it juuuust misses? Sooo close!  Well, we are TRYING to kick the summer off with some mini golf fun – but the weather is NOT looking good and we might JUST miss out.

TONIGHT – we are planing to go Mini Golfing and then chase that with a little Ice Cream.

SO – that means be at the church at 7:00 and bring $15 to cover golf ($8) and ice cream / food ($the rest)

If the weather jacks up our plans – that’s ok, we will STILL hit Ice Cream and just hang out at The Loft.

Summer is ALMOST here!!

I hope you had fun this past Friday at our Grill and Chill event.  The whiffle ball, burgers, and dogs were there in force – and combined with a little bit of outdoor worship, it was all just what everyone needed to de-stress and finish strong!
